Fresh week, fresh outlook

Ahhhh.  Gorgeous morning after very nice weekend.  Thank you to whoever stumbled across my misplaced knitting mojo and put it in the lost and found.  Whew!

Here’s the completed back of Action by Kim Hargreaves from Pipsqueaks.  A fun, fast project in now-discontinued Jaeger Matchmaker Merino DK.  What a nice basic workhorse wool!  Darling Bebe loves to say, “purple,” so this pullover will satisfy that need for awhile when complete.  Front is halfway finished and now flying.  I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again – I love this book – largely because the patterns are sized beyond baby all the way up to age 10 or so.

Elm Row is back OTN, and I’m halfway back to where I frogged.  Much better needle size now for silk lace yarn.

Now that Darling Bebe is a true toddler, she’s in a new room with new germs at school.  Not surprisingly, the cold we have shared back and forth morphed into another ear infection, but by Saturday night, was able to sleep through (which means Owl got to sleep through – finally).  Yes, Owl finally bought a thermometer – the same day she found the missing original.  I know there’s been precious little eye candy of DB of late, so let’s start the week right with a couple of recent snappies.

My new class starts on Saturday – and I am delighted to be teaching again.  Something to look forward to all week!

Gah! There is nothing cuter than a darling baby in a hat! She looks like she’s feeling much better now! Hope you’re doing well too.
