Within reach

It’s been a nachtmensch kind of week.  A houseful of family, days off from work I really could not afford ~ and a knitting deadline pressing down on my head like a Steinway on Wile E. Coyote.

Suffice it to say that I have seen the owl hours as I knitted and beaded across rows of more than 500 stitches.

But …

A bunch of Seaweed

With 18 beads to spare, the knitting is done on this massive shawl for Spirit Trail Fiberworks at Maryland Sheep and Wool.

Bind-off and blocking tonight.

Guests gone, so bed is available.  (Not for me, for the shawl to block and dry.)

Tick tick tick tick tick tick tick …
